Every time my son brings home a project/homework from school that requires glue, my daughter begs that I let her glue something too. She loves it! So I decided to take No Time For Flashcards idea, and let her have fun with glue while learning her alphabet letters.
Adding glitter glue to her craft.
Supplies:
- Paper
- Pen
- Scissors
- Glue
- Jewels or anything else that might be fun to decorate your letter with.
- Glitter or Glitter Glue
Directions:
Write the letter Q on a piece of colored paper and cut it out.
I decided to focus on “Q is for Queen”, so I cut out a crown and attached it to the Q.
I first let her decorate her letter with markers. Then I gave her the glue so she could begin gluing her jewels and pom poms. She’s still learning on the amount of glue that is needed for crafts. We sang “Dot, Dot, Not A Lot” as she added glue to her craft.
It’s important to talk about the letter as they are working on the craft too. So we sang a letter Q song that I found on Mrs. Jones Room.
I Am Learning Letter Qq
