Wow! I can’t believe it’s July already! The kids and I have been taking a little break from crafting and enjoying the beautiful summer weather. We’ve been going around town spending time at the beach, going hiking, playing at the park, and just having fun with our friends. We hope all of you are enjoying the summer too. 😉 Here’s a very simple painting project, that we found on Crafts~N~Things for Children, to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July holiday.
Supplies:
- Pipe cleaners
- Paint (red, white, blue)
- Glue (optional)
- Glitter (optional)
- Paper
Directions:
Take 4 pipe cleaners.
and fold them in half.
Then twist the bottom portion to create a handle.
Then fan out the pipe cleaners to create a star shape.
Next I took red, white and blue paint and mixed each one with a little bit of glue. This is optional…but my kids wanted to add glitter to their fireworks…so I thought this would make it easier for it to stick.
Then sprinkle some glitter. (optional)
Here’s our little firework show….Happy 4th of July!
