We are getting ready for our next Summer Virtual Book Club for Kids series that will showcase Kevin Henkes books on Monday, August 20th. What are your favorite Kevin Henkes books? There are so many great books to choose from: Sheila Rae the Brave, Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, Chrysanthemum, Owen, Penny and Her Song…the list goes on and on!If you missed our June post, featuring Mo Willems or Don and Audrey Woods, be sure and check it out and the many other wonderful posts that are linked up to it.

All you have to do is:
1. Pick your favorite book by Kevin Henkes and read it with your child.
2. Create an activity, project, craft, cooking project, etc. related to the book and do it!
