The girls made these adorable ladybug footprints. We found the idea on Handprint and Footprint Art.
Supplies:
- Black and red paint
- Paintbrush
- Black and white paper (for antenna, legs, spots and mouth)
- Green paper (or whatever color you choose)
- Googly eyes
- Hole puncher (to make the spots)
- Glue
Directions:
Once the paint dried, the girls added googly eyes.
Then they glued on black dots. Another simple way of making the spots on the ladybug is to have the children dip their fingers in black paint and add their fingerprints onto the ladybug. However, we were practicing our fine motor skills by gluing the tiny black dots onto our ladybugs.
We also glued on six legs, antennas and a mouth.
