Supplies:
- Small bowls or a muffin tin
- Food coloring
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Paint brushes
- Spoon (for mixing)
Directions:
Add a little bit of condensed milk into each container. Then add a few drops of food coloring…the amount will depend on how strong you want your colors to be. I would recommend starting out with 2 drops. After stirring, add a couple more drops for a darker color.
Stir well.
Here are the colors we ended up with…
My daughter started creating her picture…the paint is a little on the thick side so it was a little hard for her at first…but she got the hang of it.
Here’s her finished painting.
It was fun just to drizzle the paint off the paintbrush.
I never did take a picture after our paintings dried. The end result was a super shiny, glossy painting. And I was surprised that it wasn’t sticky to touch after it dried! We kept it for about a week…it never attracted any bugs…however I didn’t want to keep it longer to see if it ever did. But it was definitely a nice alternative to paint.
